AUDITION INFORMATION
• Please prepare a song that can showcase your vocal abilities.
• You may be asked to stop from one of the directors prematurely; this is only to save time.
• Please make sure to sing the part of the song that you feel is the best.
• It is important to bring sheet music or a tape/CD (instrumental ONLY). There will be a tape and CD player provided and an accompanist.
• If using an accompanist please let them know where you would like to start in the song. No transposing is allowed!
• A dance from the show will be taught and performed in front of the directors in groups.
• Know that you may be asked to read for a specific character.
• If you do not feel strong in your dancing or singing there may be non-dancing or non-singing roles, but still try your best.
• For musician auditions, please bring your instrument and perform a piece that you feel may showcase your abilities. You may be asked to stop prematurely in your piece; this is only to save time.
